When selecting a cylinder for scuba diving the most important consideration should be long-term safety. A diving cylinder is a high pressure vessel that is exposed to not only the rigors of diving but also to wear and tear during transportation and general handling. Most countries have their own standard of manufacture requirements so it is critical you buy a cylinder that meets the AUSTRALIAN standards.
